One way in
Start with the Operations Review.
No service menu. No technology roadmap. We look at one part of the business that is costing control and decide what is worth doing.
See exactly what happensYou leave with
- The bottleneck costing capacity or owner attention
- The smallest practical step worth taking next
- A rough cost, timeline, and payback target when a project makes sense
The same review. Grounded in different work.
See the problems and proof closest to your operation. Both paths lead to the same first step.
Trust the process before you trust a promise.
The first conversation has a clear scope, a useful output, and no requirement to hire us.
Map one workflow
Bring one lead, job, order, or handoff that keeps getting stuck. We trace what actually happens.
Find the constraint
We identify where information stalls, work gets repeated, or the owner has to step back in.
Choose the next move
You leave knowing whether to change the process, use an existing tool, automate, build, or do nothing yet.
Results from the field and the shop floor.
Straight answers to the real objections.
Replacing software, forcing AI, and sitting through a sales pitch are not requirements.
What does Light in the Dark Analytics do?+
We help home service companies and manufacturers find and fix workflow bottlenecks. We start by tracing one lead, job, order, or handoff. Then we recommend the smallest useful next step, whether that is a process change, an existing tool, automation, or a custom build.
Who is Light in the Dark Analytics for?+
Our primary work is with home service businesses and small manufacturers. We are a fit when missed calls, weak follow-up, disconnected scheduling, or unclear job status make the owner the relay between everyone.
Is the Operations Review really free?+
Yes. It is a 30-minute working conversation with no obligation. You leave with a clearer view of the bottleneck and a practical next step, whether you hire us or not.
Do we need to replace the software we already use?+
Usually not. We first check whether the current tools can be used better or connected. A replacement only makes sense when the current system is the constraint.
Does this have to become an AI project?+
No. Sometimes the right answer is a better process, a direct integration, or ordinary software. We only recommend AI when it fits the work and the return supports it.
Do you work with businesses outside of NEPA?+
Yes. We are based in Northeast Pennsylvania and visit local companies in person. We also work remotely when the business problem is a fit. Our manufacturing work at Lamb's Machine Works was completed with a team in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bring the part of the business you keep getting pulled back into.
We will trace it with you and identify the smallest useful next step.
